About P3 ENGAGE Mentoring


Rationale and Goals

As part of P3 networking and career advancement activities, we established the mentoring program known as P3 ENGAGE to support graduate students in exploring career opportunities in research, evaluation, and research-to-practice (i.e., technical assistance). P3 ENGAGE matches second and third-year doctoral students who (a) are preparing for their qualifying exams, (b) have completed their qualifying exams, or (c) are in the proposal and dissertation phases of their graduate studies with preeminent researchers and scholars in the behavioral and social science fields. In addition to providing academic support, these mentoring relationships will allow students to explore career options and expand their network with experts, leaders, and other professionals in the field.
