The American Institutes for Research® (AIR) is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit institution that conducts behavioral and social science research and delivers technical assistance to solve some of the most urgent challenges in the U.S. and around the world. We are committed to building a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion not only within AIR, but also in the broader behavioral and social science research sector. The AIR Pipeline Partnership Program (P3) seeks to contribute to that objective by guiding and mentoring the next generation of research and technical assistance professionals.

In partnership with The University of Nairobi and The University of Dar es Salaam, P3 offers: 

• Learning opportunities on a range of topics that reinforce and extend skills relevant for research and technical assistance careers at AIR

• Opportunities for students to participate in mentorships and internships with leaders who conduct research, evaluation, and technical assistance projects

• Channels for students, faculty, and AIR staff to diversify their professional networks
